Mona Naqsh (b.1968). Mona selected flowers as the subject of her paintings learning still-life drawing and painting from her Father, Jamil Naqsh, the eminent modern painter of Pakistan. Mona the painter has a career spanning over twenty-five years. Her art features in articles, reviews and in conversation with section by authors/critics such as S.Amjad Ali, Lubna Agha, Dr.M.A.Siddiqui, Salwat Ali, Marjorie Husain, Mohsin S.Jaffri. In a biography book dedicated to the artist, she shares her private and studio life, comments on childhood and early influences, and training. A separate section features the artist´s collectors, list of plates and early exhibits. Mona’s paintings have been described by art critics as classical.
